"You can't just keep risking your life, Ace!" I yelled, tears pouring down my face.

"Why can't I?" The man before me said quietly. He obviously didn't mean for me to hear, yet I did.

"Because.."

"Because why Ash?" He demanded, staring at me with ice cold blue eyes. I stepped forward to wipe a tear away from his cheek but he took a step back.

"Because I love you." I yelled back. "And you're too goddamn oblivious to realize I do. That's why you need to be careful, Ace!"
