Austin is a former soldier: A former member of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, also known as the "Green Berets". Austin has been medically discharged after many tours and facing many near-death situations. Austin struggles with PTSD and a fragmented piece of shrapnel in his arm from an IED explosion that happened nearly two years ago. Upon his arrival back home, he has nowhere to go but his old childhood home. With both his parents dead and being an only child, the home was left to Austin in the will approximately five years before returning home.
Through nightmares, visions, and all the battle scars that come with, an old teenage flame by the name of Layla might be just the one thing Austin needs to obtain a breakthrough. Austin used to be in love with Layla, but Layla never wanted to pursue Austin in that manner, because they were best friends. This might be the case back then, but things change as you get older and old flames grow hotter. My name is Austin and this is my story.

I put on a show only for him in front of hundreds of people.
