Bella Rose, a student at UCONN comes home for the Summer. Middlesbrough, NC a small town where she grew up is home. It's the one thing that stayed constant through the midst of change. Little does she know, there's a surprise in store for her. Her childhood best friend is home for the Summer. They'd known eachother their whole lives. They'd drifted apart in high school yet the invisible string never fails. As this Summer goes on, situationships (borderline relationships) are tested, memories resurface, and a bond is renewed. This Summer, Bella realizes what's really important.
