Y/n wakes up on a deserted island, her mind a blank canvas with no memory of what happened prior to her arrival, or what led up to her washing up on this island. She encounters three pirates, one of which takes it upon himself to guide her to their nearest habitable territory. The adventure alone influences her to set out to sea when she's of age. God, does everyone have to want to recruit her? Marines, pirates, illegal organizations, but never mind that, the time comes, and of course she has to encounter the most obnoxious guy on the seas. Can't ignore the fact he's hot, either.
She sticks around for the giggles and shits until she's called in for a favour and probably'll never see the guy again. Don't gotta worry about that 'cause the shithead pops right back up eight months later and almost blows her cover.

"I don't think I'll make it before you leave-" You look away, not bearing to face his piercing stare anymore. "I can wait!" he interrupts, letting go of your hand as quickly as he took it. "I mean uhh... me and the crew... we can wait for you," he stutters out. "This place seems pretty cool. I wouldn't mind staying here for a few more days." "We'll see," you softly chuckle in an attempt to hide your blank eyes. "I mean, who else is supposed to save you when you're halfway beaten to death?" Hearing his halfhearted laugh sent a striking pain through your chest. You swallow hard to keep a sob from escaping your throat as you realise this might be the last time you ever hear it. Tears roll down your cheeks, blurring your vision as you lock eyes with the freckled man you've been dreaming about for the past months. The familiar warmth tingles on your skin as he gently cups your face, his thumb carefully wiping away the tears on your cheek. Summary for pt 1 Ace is suicidal. He doesn't think he should have been born. Him having the blood of a monster that runs through his veins. Family doesn't find out tell Ace comes home from a failed suicide attempt. When he sets out and finds Deuce, his first mate, he stops for a while. When he joins Whitebeard he starts up again and hopes no one catches on. With his bad luck, or good luck, Marco finds out when he forces himself on him and takes off the poorly wrapped bandages.
