In 2034, the asteroid, 4486 Mithra is headed to Earth, now as a radioactive meteor, containing uranium. In a joint effort, to save the world from the threat of the meteor; the United States Space Force collaborates with NASA, Space X, JAXA and other big companies, to launch the NASA DART 2.0, to redirect and destroy Mithra. Cpt. Austin Moore, along with Lt. Col. James Bragg, and 2d Lt. Julia Walker, take refuge in an experimental cryogenic chamber, at the Armed Forces HQ in Arlington County, Virginia. However, the massive impact of the meteor is so powerful, that despite redirection, explodes huge, which causes the radioactive rock, to burn everything within a one hundred-mile radius, destroying the facility, and leaving Aaron and his team to be presumed dead. Forty-two years later, now in 2076, Austin along with James and Julia emerge from the now empty and inactive cryogenic pods, which kept them alive, and not aging at all. However, the world as they know it is in turmoil. With technology and machines becoming sentient, and taking over the world, most of the planet is now a dry and barren desert wasteland, with seventy-give percent of human population now extinct. Austin and his friends see, they are now pitted against strong malicious AI and evil machines, along with mutated former human creatures that succumbed to the gamma rays in the atmosphere. Along with acceleration in climate change, and technological progress, humans are now reduced to smaller settlements to survive and battle for resources. Frequently Asked Questions: Q - What's special about this fanfiction? A - The books have an architectured story, from mysteries to time travel. From being awfully childish to brutally mature. Also, the protagonist ages. Q - Who are the Main Protagonists and the rivals? A - Red, a character from the Pokemon Video Games is the main protagonist along with his best friend Leaf. Whereas the character Blue (also known as Gary in the anime) is more of a frenemy than a rival. The main rivals would be Team Rocket Grunts - Cassidy and Butch as well as their Boss, Giovanni. Q - Is this story based on Pokemon Red or FireRed? A - The story has a few iconic moments from the games/manga but those events do not play a big part in the main story arc. Q - Is Ash Ketchum in it? A - The story takes place in its own universe. I try to bring some events from the games, the manga, and the anime. You get to see a different version of Ash Ketchum (close to how he has been depicted in the anime) in 2 chapters of this book. Q - Is Team Rocket the same as in the anime? A - While Cassidy and Butch are characters from the anime, they have a different overall character arc than in the anime. Team Rocket is darker than in any previous versions and has a purpose and a plan other than stealing. Giovanni's plan plays out slowly in the course of three books. Q - It has time travel? A - It does, time travel is hinted at in the first book with the actual "time traveling" in the second book. Q - "I hope the protagonist has a father, hahaha" A - Yes, he does. The character mostly appears in flashbacks but is an important character.

Humans and Pokémon are colonising Mars, but good people aren't the only ones with their eyes on this new world. The first spaceflight of the Ares program launched 49 years ago. So far, the red planet hasn't been kind. Without spacesuits, few Pokémon can survive outside the bubble that protects the first town, Ironville. Humans certainly can't. Most of its 350,000 residents say they love it there, but jokes about the 'Mars madness' hide a sinister reality for those who disagree. Despite that, more people and Pokémon keep coming. Amongst the huge crew of Ares 24 are four scientists convinced they'll be the ones to terraform the planet and see Pokémon thriving in the wild: Callerya Mesquite Magnolia, Thalassa Hawthorn Harmonia, Joshua Pickett and Jin Oak. Nyx Harmonia is their security guard. Mercury Harmonia is their photographer. The latter two, however, have something else in mind: finding Nyx's great-grandfather Volo and Mercury's father Horace, who disappeared through an Ultra Wormhole 30 years ago. If Volo and Horace are on Mars, that means the people who kidnapped them also are. They may well have found fellow villains Team Genesis, who also disappeared in search of Mars many years ago... and then there are the members of the criminal syndicates Cipher and Team Plasma who somehow made it onto the ship. After a flurry of misunderstandings explained and time travel used, Sirius Black and Olivia Potter flew to safety on the also wanted hippogriffe, Buckbeak. They continued flying in a seemingly random direction for ages, doing their best to keep warm and keep on the beast. Ocean became their only view and soon enough neither of them had any idea where they were. They took turns sleeping through the night, each keeping a sharp lookout for any land up ahead. It felt as if an entire day had passed before Sirius spotted land. They were exhausted, starving, and dehydrated, but managed to muster up some energy to try and get Buckbeak to land. As they approached the landmass, however, they started to notice how densely populated it was. A city was sprawled underneath them, and Buckbeak was going nowhere near it. Despite their urging, the flying creature continued its course for another five hours. Buckbeak finally touched down in a dense forest area with no cars, crowds, or buildings in sight. He crashed down with as much grace as he could muster, flung the unwelcomed passengers off of him, and wandered off to find substenance. "Sirius, where are we?" Olivia groaned as she scanned the sky above her. Sirius was the first one to move, sitting up slowly as his bones protested, "Based on my limited geography, we've either landed in Scandinavia, Canada, or the States. I'm betting on one of the last two." He turned to face Olivia, his words trailing off as he realised the girl had passed out on the dewy grass. He smiled to himself briefly and began to get up. Getting a late start due to her taking care of one of her last remaining family she had left, her grandfather who has since passed away, she heads on her journey where she teams up with a fifteen year old girl by the name of Raine whose dream is to be an amazing breeder like the rest of her family. Along the way, Azalea meets Professor Augustine Sycamore and the two become friends and have a slight attraction for each other. But while Azalea gets annoyed by Augustine, Augustine begins to like Azalea a lot. For years, the two don't say anything, just remain friends due to her Absol being overprotective of her. Around the start of Pokemon X&Y {TV SHOW} Azalea returns to visit her friend and check on her Espeon who had been in Augustine's care for about three years due to Espeon's friendly rivalry with Garchomp as a Gible. It is then that she encounters Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town and his friends who notice that Azalea and Augustine are in love. And it's around that time that their blossoming romance truly begins! {This crosses over eventually with Pokemon Whisperer: Book 6}
