Nicole is an average young girl who lives in the Servant Hollows, a dark twisted street where the poor and wicked live, it is a small section of the majestic city of Novaquay, a place where the richer class live. Born a poor girl and adopted by a mean woman named Evelina Sartori. Forced out to get a job, she is kidnapped by a notorious mafia gang called The Veiled Serpents, Nicole was always a strange child, with strange markings on her arms and ways of understanding otherworldly things, she is invited to join the group as the first female. Love blossoms in the story as the second in command, Linus Rossi, falls for Nicole, and so does many of the members of the gang.
