Hundreds of years ago, when the world teetered between good and evil, light and darkness, there existed a powerful kingdom - The Kingdom of Nam. It was ruled by a wise and noble king named Nam Si Hyun.

His bloodline bore a sacred duty: to protect the Holy Sword, a divine weapon forged to destroy evil. Only those from his clan carried the blood pure enough to wield the sword - the only blade capable of sealing darkness forever.

But peace is never eternal.

A terrible war broke out in the kingdom. Light clashed with shadow, and good battled evil. Though the forces of good triumphed, the evil was only captured, not destroyed... and mysteriously, the kingdom itself vanished from the face of the earth.

The king fell in the battle, leaving behind his only daughter - Princess Nam Ji Sung - and the kingdom's last remaining protectors: the seven most powerful warriors known as the Seven Saviours.

At just eighteen, the young princess rose to fulfill her father's destiny. She fought with the Holy Sword in one final attempt to end the evil once and for all... but the cost was her life.

The Seven Saviours, unable to protect her or the kingdom, sacrificed themselves in grief and loyalty.

Then - as heaven wept - angels descended from the skies and made a divine promise:
