"How the hell am I supposed to look him in the eye, knowing that I may have to see the light leave his eyes soon enough? Doesn't he have the right to know that he may never see his mother in a white dress, never have a chance to give her hand to Paul? Shouldn't he have a say in how he spends the last few months of his life?" Annabeth demanded.
"His sixteenth birthday is less than a year away, Chiron. It's nearly certain that he is the child of the prophecy!" She concluded, her voice cracking at the end.
Annabeth let the tears flow freely this time, the guilt of knowing too much heavy on her conscience.
*****
This tells the story behind Sally and Paul's wedding.
It is set just before the winter holidays after the Battle of the Labyrinth. The quest of 'The Sword of Summer' takes place simultaneously with this story. Stays true to the book as much as possible, with a lot of added details.
Second story among my series of short stories named 'Beyond the Books' but can be read as a standalone.

Percy Jackson & Annabeth Chase: Parental Approval [Completed]
Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase are getting older. They just turned 18 and are ready to leave the sanctuary provided by Camp Half Blood. The only problem is Percy has failed to receive Athena's blessing in dating (maybe even eventually marrying) her daughter. Percy will do anything for Annabeth, so it doesn't come as a surprise when Athena makes a proposition. If Percy can make it through a quest assigned and designed by the wisdom goddess herself, he will have Athena's blessing to date her prized daughter. Follow Percy and Annabeth (and others like Leo, Jason, Piper, etc.) in their romantic and risky adventure to prove to Athena that they can be the first to defy the ancient rivalry between Poseidon and Athena. PG-13. *All characters from Rick Riordan's book, The Heroes of Olympus. #Percabeth! (Takes place after the series when Leo is already back and everyone knows he is alive and with Calypso).*Complete
Indigo Eyes
I could give you a sob story about how tough Cressida Lynn's life has been, but you're not here for that. You're not here to hear about how terrible her mother treated her and how she only got her first birthday present at age nine or how no one outside her cabin liked her. No. You're here to hear about how her life changed the summer of her 12th birthday. The summer when Poseidon's son came crashing through the camp borders after he'd killed the Minotaur. You're here to hear about how they found the Lightning Thief. You're here to hear about how they ventured through the Sea of Monsters. You're here to hear about how they withstood the Titan's Curse. You're here to hear about how they fought in the Battle of the Labyrinth. You're here to hear about how they defended the Last Olympian. However, I must warn you that this journey is not for the faint-hearted for each quest is more treacherous than the last. And it is most certainly not for mortals. But, should you find yourself feeling brave, should you be a demigod in a past life, a present life or a future one, then I invite you to join me on this adventure. #1 in hades #1 in greekgodsandgoddesses #1 in lukecastellan #1 in titanwar #1 in dionysus #1 in pjofandom #4 in zeus #4 in seaofmonsters #9 in kronos #10 in labyrinth #12 in percyjacksonandtheolympians #17 in greekmythology #23 in annabethchase #36 in poseidon (Lightning Thief - Last Olympian) (Disclaimer: All rights go to the legendary Rick Riordan, I only own Cressida and any original scenes and dialogue I've written.) Percy Jackson: Gods' Bane (DARK PERCY)
Percy Jackson is not a good person. At least, not anymore. Percy has been through a lot. Annabeth is dead and his few remaining friends are scattered across America. Percy's been loyal and heroic his whole life, he's always done what the gods asked. And they have only ever repaid him with pain and indifference. So now it's his turn. His longing for justice is growing and the more bitter he becomes, the more it sinks in that without Annabeth, he has nothing left to fight for. But then again, there's nothing holding him back. Revenge is something that has long been above Percy. But at the end of the day, at least it's something to fight for. The gods have forgotten that loyalty goes both ways. It's about time someone reminded them what happens when you lose the trust of a Demigod who rules on loyalty. ////Don't be afraid to spam comments or questions, I love attention teehee////Complete
In Between (Percy Jackson x OC)
"He laughs at her eyes, at her smile, at the glasses on her face She loves how he talks late at night, when there's no one else to say How she's beautiful and funny and smart like nothin' he's ever seen He's good to her, and she wants it more than everything in-between" she was born with sunlight in her veins and songs in her blood. He was just trying to survive middle school and maybe not get eaten. When Elara Morgan, daughter of Apollo, ends up tangled in a prophecy she doesn't understand-and a war that hasn't even begun-she's forced to choose between the life she knew and the god she never asked for. Enter Percy Jackson: sarcastic, sea-soaked, and annoyingly heroic. As monsters rise and Olympus trembles, their lives collide in a way that could save the world... or unravel it completely. A story of music, mischief, monsters, and two demigods caught in the chaos in between.

***guys. i wrote this when i was 14 at the height of COVID-19. proceed w caution*** Queen Sally is shocked when instead of one heir, she has twin boys. Unfortunately, ancient law states that the royal family can only have one male offspring, otherwise a duel to the death has to be held. King Poseidon only knows about his first born, Prince Triton, while Percy lives in solitude as a spitting image of his father, locked away in the Northern Tower. Annabeth has always lived in the palace with her mother, Athena Chase, the Kings most trusted advisor. She has always been a naturally curious person, but has never thought twice of what could be in the Northern Tower. That is, until Aphrodite McLean and her daughter Piper are hired to prepare for Prince Triton's wedding and crowning. Turns out Piper is curious and very persuasive. What will happen when Annabeth starts poking around the Northern Tower? Read to find out! There will be lots of twists and turns, but this is my first story, so please be patient if I mess up. All character rights go to Uncle Rick!!! The plot is mine, but none of the PJO/HOO characters are mine. Also, cover credits to @Aussie_Pjo_Lover, thank you!!Complete
