What lies beyond Life? The Death that eventually connects us all. 18 year old Ruth Jean loathed the idea of life, in a world where humanity was only a distant dream, where bloodbaths were the only way to survive. After The Anarchy, true to their name, established themselves, it was a world which grew on the principle of survival of the fittest. She had nothing to lose anyway. The only thing that kept her alive all these while was Sebastian, her companion through thick and thin. After the one person she had trusted completely and was starting to learn to love joined forces with the very destruction corroding the core of humankind, life had no meaning to her. As much as she began to despise him, she had loved him too. And his eventual demise only killed her further. One day, as she decided to end her darned existence, something felt terribly off. Was this what heaven, or maybe even hell, felt like? Catching a glimpse of herself in a nearby mirror, it was not her usual weary frame but the manly stature of Sebastian.
