Zuko gets an arranged marrige with Katara, but Sokka steps in to save his sis.
In more detail:
Katara is 18, Sokka 22, Zuko 23 and the others can be calculated trom those (if its mentioned or important later I'll write it down)
Zuko is totally cut of from the real world, as his father keeps him locked inside for his own entertainment and other unexplainable reasons.
Sokka and his family (where Bato and Hakoda live in a healthy ROMANTIC realinationship) mourn the loss of Kya, and will do anything to keep her legacy - The SWT Hospital -, up.
There is a lot of stuff different from the Cannon - Kya dying of a car crash, Zuko getting his scar as a in-the-heat-of-the-moment punishment, sokka's mother being a bender, the avatar not existing (dw ang still does very much)

Meka is a water bender but she doesn't live with water benders. She was found alone when she was five by a group of gypsies. They were a group who gather together because the fire benders destroyed their homes. Hana took care of Meka as if she was her little sister. Meka learned on her own on how to bend water as perfectly as she could. Hana soon fell in love with a fire bender but wouldn't dare tell the others since they hate firebenders. As they started to travel again Hana was found pregnant and told the group it was an earth bender that she fell in love. Hana dies gave birth to a boy named Mikoto. Meka just turned ten but raised him as her own as how Hana wanted for him to be raised but when Mikoto turned 6 he accidentally burned another kid when he was getting bullied. When they banned Mikoto, Meka clearly went with him not caring if he was a firebender. Mikoto was Meka's baby boy. Zuko and Iroh found a boy run to their camp with tears in his eyes begging for them to save his mother. As Zuko went to help what he expected was an older women, found a girl about his age with beautiful long silver hair. After saving her Meka begged that they teach Mikoto how to firebend. After accepting they started to travel together. When Zuko starts to fall in love with her what would he do when he finds out she's a water bender. Follow their journey as they travel around and try to save the world.Complete
Zutara: When Chemicals React (Avatar the last air bender fan fiction)
This story takes place after the war has settled. Aang and Katara finally together, Zuko the firelord, Sokka being,...well Sokka, Toph happy and never to return home, and the nations were finally at peace. When team Avatar decides to return to the southern water tribe to visit Sokka and Katara's family, they end up bringing Zuko along, giving him a well deserved break of running the fire nation. However, feelings start to make themselves known. Feelings that Aang doesn't like, little does he know he ends up pushing Katara into the arms of the edgy firebender, which was the last thing he was trying to do. Will this new romantic relationship tear team Avatar apart? Will it make them stronger? Will Katara's new found heated relationship be accepted by her tribe?
