At only 16 years old, Vivienne wished for nothing more than to get out of her family's home. It was the definition of chaos and a world she could never seem to escape. She wished she could be anywhere else in the world. Sailing in Croatia, biking along the streets of Rome. Although privileged, her reality weighed on her. 

Cassius, a 17 year old playboy, has more depth than met the eye. His family was one of the richest in the area, and as an only child, he felt isolated. If only he could travel the world, rather than learn the family business when he graduated.

The people are curious and overly friendly, and the weird town myth that has a hundred different varieties weighs heavy on his heart. The old closed highway behind town and the off-road that none of his friends will walk bring him nightmares of a women with dark hair. The mysteries of this town and whatever strange events that occurred all those years ago seem to be pulling him in, and the house at the end of that off-road that was supposed to be abandoned holds the one thing that he wasn't expecting to find, who quickly grows to be the one thing he doesn't want to lose. ~Story is complete, but not edited, originally written in 2021 for the National Novel Writing Month challenge~

Brie Donavon was brought up in the chaos of poverty. By the age of 5 she knew what debts and loans were. Everyone has heard of the great evil klaus mikaelson even the innocent Brie, word spreads fast in a small town like Mystic Falls . How could something possible be "evil"? She believed there wasn't such a thing. Brie was the only person who fully trusted klaus. With her Well-being. With her heart. With her life. They were like Ying and Yang, completely opposite yet destined for one another. Of course neither of them could see that which if why they started off as friends. They admired each other. Klaus loved how her beautiful brunette hair would flow past her shoulders like the oceans waves and how her emerald eyes would glisten every time she smiled. Don't get me started on how he loved her compassion for people, her smile gave him the hope that was once beaten out of him. It gave him strength. Courage. Faith. She loved how he was gentle with her, how his eyes reflected purity, his heart tenderness. He was dark and his past vengeful. That was what everyone tried to expel. Brie knew banishing the past wouldn't make the pain any less traumatic instead she pledged to embrace his darkness. Rather than hating who he was, she adored who he chose to be.
