The age old tale unfolds. A hero rises up against a villain, the villain monologues, underestimates the hero, bing bang boom, villain loses. Alternatively, the villain loses because the hero ventured and got a "secret weapon/artifact" to stop the doomsday of a maniacal scheme.
I'm one such villain, but I do things a bit differently. Not too differently, I need to have my fun after all. I wreak my havoc, make my profits, and skedaddle.

SEQUEL TO LOVING A VILLAIN There were sparks when we met, but not the kind that you would think. One look at him quite literally knocked me out. Seriously. I was unconscious. He was not some shining hero on a white horse, who swooped in and saved the day. No he put the Hero's head through a wall and laughed. Overall, he and I are a complete shit show. Complete. Shit show. He isn't nice. Or kind. Or hell, even legally decent. And he sure as hell isn't sane. Through all his shitty qualities, the villainous attitude, and even all the multiple attempts on my life. I fell for the villain of the century. My damn luck. Blue Doom. But did we get the semi-happy ending? Or at least the one you're suppose to get when you end up with the villain of the story. But no. I get the short stick. He's nothing I ever imagined, but everything I'll ever need. I already fell in love with the villain, now its time for me to save his crazy ass.Complete

It doesn't help that you felt some kind of force whispering to you to kill him in order to prove your love. So, you did. Strangely, the world seemed to be against him dying, because you found time kept repeating itself each time he died. You kept murdering him until a sudden epiphany dawned on you, as if you had broken away from the force controlling you. You were a character in a game-a villain who would always kill the protagonist. However, as if the developers knew you were no longer controllable, they replaced you so the boy you were obsessed with would still die and time would never move forward. Hence, you took it upon yourself to protect him. But why does the protagonist seem to be acting strange?Complete

After I suddenly died I possessed the body of what I thought was an extra within a novel. From then on my life was mostly calm, though not fulfilling. Until one day I discovered I wasn't just a background figure; instead I was an insignificant character who'd end up being the villainous Grand Duke's secretary, only to die shortly after being near him! But I had no choice, it was too late to change my fate, so I decided to live as obediently as possible under the orders of the sadist villain. But I still had a plan. Even before the female lead makes her appearance, I will try in every way to make the villain a little more normal, or at least ensure that the two do not meet, so that no one will face a harsh death, including me! And then, after the villain doesn't become obsessed with the female lead and becomes more normal, I will be able to resign and live peacefully. So I just cleared all the suspicions he might have about me in order to not incur his wrath and die like in the novel. * * * "I'll give you a choice." The corner of his lips raised crookedly. Though that smile did not reach his eyes at all. "One, don't resign and stay here forever..." His gaze was enough to unnerve me. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." Long ago a group of superheroes and villains worked together to prevent an invasion. But they managed to kill more people than they saved. Their destruction caused the perception of those with powers to dramatically shift; to the point of outcast. 50 years later crime has increased to the point where not even the police respond to calls. Few heroes went into hiding to 'play normal'; like my family and I. I live in New Haven City. I've been lucky enough that I don't have powers that attract too much attention --- Everything was going great. Everything was normal. Until Jamie was forced to confront the reality of her situation. The mayor who has been running the NSA was beginning to take drastic measures. Sending many supers off to another island. Stealing their powers. Forcing others to betray their own kind. The victims of these horrific acts are not taking that lightly. Why not make a team of heroes? A team that doesnt give a shit what the NSA or the Mayor has to say.
