However, her plans for relaxation are quickly upended when she encounters a daring Greek boy who is eager to embark on adventures with her.

Lavender Monroe had always been an uptight and reserved girl in her family since her twin brother took the spotlight. Yet, she didn't let that take away from being herself. In fact, she enjoyed being a wallflower that was noticed less. She was not adventurous and was never the first person to take risks. However, it all changed when her heart was broken by her crush of three years. His words might have hurt her but he did motivate her to start taking risks. It was finally time for her to break free from her mundane lifestyle.
Apollo Florakis was the boy that every girl might have wanted to have a dreamy summer fling with. Of course, he would greatly appreciate their time, but he had one condition that they should never get attached. He could make a gal fall in and out of love in just seconds. And those mere seconds never meant anything to him. He followed the rules of what made him protect himself and his reputation. Loving someone was just as close to a burden to him.
