And when love and affection actually start reaching out to him for the first time in his life, he is snatched far away and thrown into a pit of darkness. Lust paints his nights in rainbow colors while his soul crumbles slowly. Lust is not love. But can it give rise to emotions deeper and purer?

Dan Howell had been at a Catholic school all of his life. He ate, breathed and lived as a good Christian boy should. However, it didn't fit him, he didn't feel right promising himself to a God he didn't fully believe in. With countless rules Dan wasn't sure he could live his life to eternally, he starts to wonder if this life is his, or his parents. Suddenly, as he begins to doubt everything he's ever been taught, a reformer is brought to St Patricia's, somebody who has the power to change everything; as cliche as it sounds. Dan begins to feel things he ought not to as a good Christian boy, but not every rule is okay to be broken. The Traitor Inside - (Campfire Conversations)
'Campfire Conversations' are a collection of short stories retelling classic Bible stories from the old and new testaments. They follow two points of view: the POV of our story tellers, Martha and Lucius, and the POV of the people in the Bible accounts. These POVs are separated by the * symbol. 'The Traitor Inside' tells the story of Judas Iscariot, the biggest deceiver who ever lived. Read sermons from The Lord Jesus Christ, the only man who was not deceived by him and yet, called him a 'disciple' and showed him love he did not deserve. Read and be reminded that no matter how dark the inside of someone, we can show them kindness and love through the strength of The Good Shepherd. Perhaps some will not come to a saving knowledge of him, but at least we can prevent ourselves from being tainted by the evil.Complete
