Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be in a magical world? 
Well, twenty year old Astra Holister sure as heck hasn't. She didn't believe in magical beings or anything related to that. But one day she finds herself lost in a creek, literally, and has to face a whole lot of magical things.
As she was walking in the woods one beautiful day, she stumbles across a creek. Astra let her childish instincts take over and she decides to jump in. And instead of landing on solid ground, she falls through the creek. Little did she know that this creek, along others scattered across Earth, is a portal to this magic world called Morastar. 
Morastar is a world filled with magic mushrooms, poisonous forests, talking animals, and of course, corrupt monarchies. There are five kingdoms in Morastar, each one ruled by a descendant of the first king. But the kingdom Astra finds herself in is ruled by a horrible tyrant. Everyone thinks he's the best, but that's only because he's brainwashed them.
As Astra tries to find her place in this new world, she finds her closest friend, Jake Thurston, a huge help. He helps her through what she needs and tries to sooth her troubles. Astra doesn't know just how much of a good friend Jake is until Leo Chaffman, Astra's best friend and crush from Earth, shows his face in Morastar.
Filled with twists and turns and betrayals, Astra ventures on a chaotic journey with confusing feelings. Only question is, will she ever make it home? Or will she be stuck with the tyrant everyone adores and his "evil" brother?All Rights Reserved

Mia is used to reading about this kind of stuff, not living it. The planet was Imperium; Declared the most powerful, biggest rogue planet of the multiverse- many people sought out to rule it. Therefore a war was sparked. Some people say, that the planet birthed death because of the deadly war. However, something else was birthed, an heir. Her name was Milia. She possessed true power and ultimately ended the war. Milia ruled the world and her children became the inevitable successors. Although they lacked Milia's gift, the future generation, though it was thousand's of years later contained Milia's powers. The children were named the true heir, therefore they were hunted. No hunter was more well known than the bitch, the baddest; Methaya. Being half human, half snake, her luminescent eyes turned the living into the inanimate. To save her children, the Queen of the planet rifted her children into Earth, where they lived for 500 years, unaware of their cursed destiny. After a prophecy declaring that the oldest would die, the truth started unravelling and they learnt things- that would change things forever. So... My life was pretty normal until... 1) My mother died. 2) My dad killed her. 3) And...I lodged a case on him as he killed her. Yeah, I know. My life is pure shitty. And do you what else makes it weird and shitty? The visions I get! See, I won't even be guilty to send my dad to prison 'cause I remember nothing about him. I only faintly remember mom too. Anyways... And then some weird monster decides to attack our school and Naya goes Egyptian sky goddess. (nuts) Hehe. Soon we find out that she is a 'that "m" word'. She tells us that we are magicians too! And then (*dramatic drum roll*).....The......quest begins. There is a home land of magicians. M-O-N-A-S-T-A-S-I-A It's a whole new planet between Earth and Mars. The planet was destroyed ages ago by a group of people which we have to bring back in 5 days, else it's pieces will crash on Earth and destroy the humanity completely. And the weirdness doesn't end here. We have to defeat a 'Dark Lord' too. He was a maniacal god who became a magician with the help of another magician. We have to kill him because if we don't then, he would kill us, which doesn't sound nice (and is a bit confusing) (*wink*). *** This is the first book of Monastasia series. The next book is "The Chained Goddess". The prequel is "Becoming A Grey Villainess". This is my first book and it may have some grammatical errors. Please point them out in comments.
