What I'm doing with this story is taking the Eikons from FF XVI and put into a more modern era (FFVII/FFXV)
    
    Since the era of might and magic, one constant has persisted: Change. Whether from a child to an adult or a horse-drawn carriage to cars, no more significant change has hit Valisthea than the loss of the Eikons. Now, mere fairy tales to tell around the campfire. What if you were to learn that their power wasn't gone, just transferred? Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only changed, and when the vessel of the nine gods faded away, one can only speculate did the accumulative power disappear into the aether or were just weakened and found new hosts. Hosts who would go on and pass the power on waiting for the time they were needed.All Rights Reserved
