They swap places without any of them knowing for unknown reasons, and they both want to go back to their universe, Universe Lady said to Thomas it happens but not so often when gold dust is very random at the time and sometimes the gold dust could even swap each object places without warning but swapping people is the first problem that happened! So Thomas will stay in the Universe himself, while his universe self is staying in his universe, knowing the challenge they try their best to befriend who is very different than their usual everyday friends, and even know each other by clues.
