Sixteen-year-old Eireann O'Connor doesn't believe in magic anymore. She knows the annual family road trip to Galway, Manitoba-where it's impossible to get away from fairy tales-is going to suck. And to make things worse, Eireann's gorgeous, better-at-everything-than-Eireann sister, Keira, has returned from college just in time to come along.

But when Keira disappears during a party, Eireann discovers she was wrong to give up on magic. The Otherworld is real, and just like everything else in the sister's lives, Keira got the invitation first.

With the help of Finn, a half-fey Galway local who's been in love with Keira nearly as long as Eireann's been in love with him, Eireann immediately sets off to "rescue" (read "evict") Keira from the Otherworld. But forget dragon-guarded towers-the Otherworld is a malevolent golf course. The sand traps are carnivorous. Land octopuses roam the fairways. The fey king does host balls, but they're more like frat parties than Disney. And it's not just the setting that doesn't match the stories. Kisses cast rather than break spells, and romance rarely means happily ever after.

The outposts are one thing, fey court is another entirely. With an inherited title she didn't earn and massive shoes to fill, Niamh tries to adjust to fey court. Dwendardian's forces are bombarding the castle, demanding Niamh's head for their leader. The harder she trains, the less adequate she feels, not in the least when her growing power only seems to be present when Eamon's annoying her. There is very little difference between love, lust and obsession. But, there is more than looming threats to the safety of all realms; the king's sons are caught in their own games and aren't averse to getting someone killed. While Eamon reminds himself his feelings for Niamh go no further than a simple fey obsession, he is still involved in the tug of war for power among the king's children. Fey obsession is a dangerous thing... So, oaths are formed and relationships tested as Niamh and Eamon are forced to hide away with the hope the fey can draw the fomorians away from Elfhaven. There, their own relationship is tested as Niamh gives in to her attraction to him. ...and, Eamon's will not be the only oath broken. But, once the threat is passed and they are back among others, Eamon is cold, distant, and his oath is near broken. As Niamh continues to learn more about her fey heritage, she will come to see that there are many layers to the fey psyche. Well, one-quarter a lie, anyway. Niamh O'Callaghan was a normal girl. Or, so she thought. When a chance encounter with two strange boys finds Niamh in some perverted version of Hogwarts, she has to learn to fight, weave magic, and not fall for Killian, the boy with the brilliant blue eyes. Because fey are not like humans and there is nothing normal about falling for one. Thank Danu for Lachlan, who is more brother than friend in such a strange place. The only thing stronger than your oath... If falling for Killian wasn't worrying enough, Eamon's return to Gryffnhall throws Niamh's world upside down once more. Once a friend to her parents and still haunted by their deaths, Eamon has nothing to lose and everything to gain by taking Niamh from Killian, and he sets out to do just that using every tool in his royal fey arsenal. Niamh's determined not to give into either of them ...is the power of Her heart. But, an old evil is resurfacing and Niamh has an inheritance to claim from the king. So, Eamon and the Gryffyns are tasked with escorting Niamh and her fiann to the king. And, if they can lure out the big bad gunning for Niamh, all the better. But, travelling in close quarters stirs up trouble between Kilian and Eamon in the battle for Niamh.

As Nora delved deeper into the game "The Ethereal Realm," her fingers danced across the keys and mouse, immersed in the virtual world that consumed her screen. The open world expanded, a vast and detailed landscape unfurling before her eyes. She navigated winding mountain paths, the cool air of the peaks enveloping her avatar. Forests, teeming with foliage and the echoing call of mythical creatures, stretched out before her as she wandered through their depths. Cities and villages dotted the landscape, teeming with residents-Dragons, Mernundas, and creatures beyond her imagination. One fateful night, after her children were fast asleep, she was suddenly interrupted by a message appearing on her screen. "Hero, I need your help." With that, the screen starts glitching, and before Nora can react, she is sucked into the game itself, finding herself in the very realm she was just playing in... (Self-insert because I can! Hehehe! Let me know if there are any mistakes I need to fix. Also, I'm pulling this story out of my butt, so please be patient with me.)
