This story begins when Darren's friend,Steve, almost dies. Darren know he must do something so he goes to the owner of the spider who almost killed Steve. The spider,Madam Octa, was successfully retrieved but Mr Crepsley,or should I say,Vur Horston . Mr,Cresley only promises to save Steve if Darren became his assistant. Mr.Crepsley turns Darren half-vampire and saves Steve. Darren breaks the promise and runs out on Mr,Crepsley in the hospital after he gave Steve the serum to save him. The effects of turning half-vampire hit Darren at he wrong time. His friend Alan had cut his knee really bad after Darren shoved into him, causing him to fall. Darren saw the blood on his knee and immediately pounced, sucking the blood from Alan's knee. Everyone was disgusted and one girl said he needed to be locked up and kept away. Darren raises his arms and said he would suck the blood from everyone but all of them took it as a joke. (In this story,Darren and Steve are ADULTS) Btw this is how i personally wanted the book, Cirque Du Freak,to end. I based this off of when Darren had to save Steve.

Insanity was bred in the pits of Hell. Emeri Marcello was a deep believer in that. His sole empire clawed away at a being, tearing apart their mind, leaving only a mess of tatters and blood in their wake. There was no escape. Be it the surface world, or the gnarled mangroves of his very mind. There was no solace, no solitude. How was one ever expected to survive against the call of the damned when locked away in such a monstrous prison? Emeri had never fantasised of anything else. A ruler in his own right, a king amongst paupers, with a domain of flame and sin at his fingertips. What else could there possibly be? He had pets to entertain him, to bleed for him, to fall at bended knee to his every command. What else might possibly tempt him away from the sickening reality he had come to know? Boredom, perhaps. The petulance of a neglected child, feeding the impulse of an arrogant adolescent. One simple choice, one eternal decision, that had been Emeri's fate. His path changed. Not in a fit of rage, nor some wrathful tantrum, in that tiny verdict that had whispered to him from the very darkest part of himself. From the abhorrent version of his own normality to something new, something interesting... Someone interesting...
