THE PAINTER

Jamal Thompson and Lucas Makena were ex-lovers who had sworn never to have anything to do with each other again after breaking up in high school. Seven years later, Jamal, now a struggling writer, was given a big assignment to find and write a story about the everyday life of a famous but highly secretive painter known as Poseidon. After managing to uncover Poseidon's identity, Jamal was confronted with the dilemma of declining the job or working with the person he had vowed never to see again.
