The dead are no longer staying dead.

When a mysterious explosion destabilizes the Veil of Death, Inferi begin emerging - intelligent, cursed, and impossible to control. As the magical world reels from the chaos, whispers of resurrection magic resurface, and a shadowy cult rises from the ashes of history.

Caught in the middle is Albus Potter, a young Unspeakable blamed for what he never intended to unleash. Framed, hunted, and haunted, he finds himself at odds with the very world he's trying to protect -including his own father.

Harry Potter, now Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, is fighting a war on two fronts: against a growing political conspiracy infecting the ICW, and the deepening rift within his own family. With secrets unraveling, trust broken, and old wounds reopened, the Potters are pulled into a conflict far darker than anything they imagined - where death is only the beginning.
