This is a short story.
Winnie and Bill were childhood friends since birth. It was impossible to separate them, making great memories together. They knew wanted be like this forever, or they hoped so.
They grew apart, and Winnie now has a boyfriend while Bill has a girlfriend. Bill is the boy who everyone loves and wants to be around, while Winnie was the girl with not too many friends, a small friend group, and is quiet.
Separation doesn't stop the way that Winnie feels whenever she walks past or notices Bill. She dreams things could be different. She thinks they belong together.
As the months pass, Winnie soon finds out it might be too late to make things right again.
