When Nadezhda Yekaterina "Nadya" Romanova Brannon Stark was 10, she and her mother fled to Wakanda, leaving their homeland of Russia to escape from Hydra. But when, at 14, she lost her mother after a mission gone wrong, Nadya returned to her old home to say goodbye but was taken by Hydra. They used her for more than fighting and killing, as she was known as the Tribrid. She and her mother were not just wolves or vampires or phoenixes, but all three and very useful. She escaped and found her father but ended up Hydra's prisoner once more. After another escape, she knew she needed to do something better with her life. When Steve and Natasha decide to join forces and find out the hidden truths of S.H.I.E.L.D and of Hydra, Nadya joins them, wanting to end Hydra once and for all. But they have a run-in with someone Nadya once was close with and everything changes. Nadya must face everything she fears, her past, her uncertain future, and her feelings. Along her journey, she encounters more pain and loss and heartbreak but also love, friendship, and something she thought she'd never get, happiness.
