This story is Schlatt X Quackity (There is smut in this book, but I add summaries at the end of all of the chapters so be free to skip any of them if you're uncomfy.) Plus, I do not ship the two people, this takes place in the smp, not in the real world :) Also, there's a lot of triggers in here, I attempt to list them at the beginning of the chapters so, be warned. --------------- Desc. ~ After Quackity is called by his boss to pick him up from the bar, the naive Quackity getting a raise in return. The co-worker ends up getting to know the drunk side of him, Schlatt takes Quackity home, them having a one-night stand, Alex discovers his crush he never knew he had. The two soon decided to move in together, making it official. It had gone from backhands to full-on stabbing in a matter of months. Quackity has no clue how this happened, or how to get out. He's slowly losing his trust, friends, and his sanity. His depression plus the mistreatment from his soon-to-be husband leads to the close call of attempted suicide. Will he be able to escape? So many heartbreaks. How many heartbreaks can one man take? It hadn't been many, but Quackity lost count quickly. Could he have another chance at love? But with who? After so many years of feeling dead, inside, and outside, he forgot how it felt to be truly happy. To be alive. To love. He completely forgot, after decades of limbo, he forgot how to truly live. Perhaps someone out there could make him feel himself again. All of this is written in a timeline that is close to the canon timeline that we are shown, but it is not exactly the same as you will read later on. This is all characters, even if Quackity's real name is used a few times, this is NOT shipping the CC's. No smut (SURPRISING FOR MY USUAL READERS!), just fluff, and angst. After uploading all of this from my notebook, I now realize how short this story really was and that the chapters are below 1,000 words, which is different for me considering I'm a pretty detailed writer... regardless, this one is for all of the readers who like shorter stories with a smaller amount of parts!Complete

But when on one day, the brunette accidentally revealed what he really is, their relationship took a sudden turn. Schlatt, his boyfriend of 3 months, decides he would help him with the presidency, deciding that they would combine their votes, making it easier on the already distressed Alexis Quackity. They didn't expect to win, but alas, they did. They both have more money and power than they'd ever wish for. Schlatt's arrogant personality clashes with Quackity's more calm personality, mixed with the stress of running an entire country, they clashed constantly. For the first few months, it was going well, though, after that, Schlatt began getting more and more manipulative, as the power was running to his head. Not only did he think he had power, but he did have power. Quackity being sent through a cycle of emotional trauma, terrified. He's convinced his friends hate him and he's paranoid to reach out. Will he break from the binds of his husband, or will he fall to his death at the hands of his lover? Or even fall by his own hands from suicide? Only time can tell before he ends up mentally breaking.
