So I used to have a crush on this guy so I made a story about him. Here's the description:
Emerson had a hard childhood and because of that they don't trust easily but when they end up getting hired by the Joker, that starts to change. They originally had only one goal; avenge their parents' deaths. However, as they see the softer side of the Clown Prince of Crime, they can't help becoming fond of him and thinking about being more than just acquaintances.
This is a story I started writing years ago but I've done some revisions and now I feel that it's good enough to show others. I hope you like it!
I probably will give it a proper title at some point but my main focus is the plot right now.

You've gotta watch out for the quiet ones and they hardly come quieter than shy but pretty Harleen Quinzel. New to Gotham City, the fledgling psychiatrist is starting her career by assessing new intakes at the infamous Blackgate Prison, a place so dangerous and ugly it makes the rest of Gotham look like a garden in springtime. Clashing immediately with the head doctor, Joan Leland, doesn't help. Let's face it-there's very little in her life to make her smile, let alone laugh. The first world was so determined to eliminate him and send him off to the next life, but it turns out that the world just despises him in general. Who would have thought things would turn out like this? The world wavers, trying to come to terms with the entity that has emerged within it, and the only thing keeping this being at bay is its master-or perhaps a friend? Or maybe something more? Gacy Wayne, a girl with a very "eventful" past, was stuck in Arkham until an unplanned escape leads her to the outside world. On a mission to take back all the years of trauma she endured at Arkham, she finds herself changing her mind when someone close to her is permanently injured by her old and unkind lover. She takes it upon herself to have revenge on him but slowly tips off the edge as old memories start springing back up about their love. ------ "Well hello there Baby doll" that's impossible there's only one person who calls me that and I haven't heard from them since I was put in Arkham. "It's been a long time hasn't it darling did you miss me?" I stood there in shock I thought this wouldn't happen again I thought I told him to leave me alone. ------ Includes bisexual behaviour, mild violence and mild swearing. Mentions of rape and abuse. This is my own personal version of how Dr. Harleen Quinzel fell in love with a sociopathic clown, also know as The Joker.
