But she has long escaped the holding facility where the 13 mutants grew up together, and now lives a dangerous life as an assassin hiding from government detection, slowly picking off high government officials as a day job, while secretly leading and protecting the now flourishing rebellion that will one day strike back. That is it was secret until the government discovered the 7th city base. Now Lightning and the rebels must struggle to finalize preparations within the two month deadline. And as if additional stress was required, Lightning's dark secret is discovered in a hunt for the 13th mutant.
