Until death, did they part? No. They would not wish for such finite happiness. The winds of war, upon which traveled death itself. Were persistent and spiteful and would scatter so weak a wish all too easily. No, not even death could keep them apart.
Sorry if a lot of things in the story seem really confusing, rushed, and stupid. It's because I'm not the best at stories. So please bear with my writing and have an awesome time reading this story.

In a galaxy-wide war. For over 20 years, humanity has been on the defensive, surviving against the odds from a genocidal religious alien cult known as the Covenant. Fighting for humanities very existence, untold numbers of UNSC forces will lay down their lives so that countless others may live. This story is a "what if scenario" and unique take on an idea that the creators of Halo original made for a draft to how Halo 2 was supposed to end during the designing phase of the videogames. (When Halo 2 was the "last game" and Halo 3 wasn't supposed to exist due to the current development schedules at the time). That idea being how Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes were supposed to have a "romantic relationship" at the end of the game, but scrapped it due to it making no sense for this to even happen. So, this story about this concept of an unlikely relationship with Master Chief and Commander Miranda Keyes and will recreate it to be more complex and expand this scrapped idea and potential make something of it. Ultimately, during the darkness of war, the time for companionship is an afterthought as time passes and chaos continues. Will this unlikely duo that being the legendary Spartan 2 Master Chief and UNSC Commander Miranda Keyes grow closer together against such darkness against the Covenant, or fall victim as many have before them.

From this Forerunner, it pledged itself and its forces of unknown magnitude to fight the genocidal war against the Covenant, to protect humanity. The UNSC Pillar of Autumn heads course back home, to the Solar System, Earth. A big mystery slowly unveils on humanities newest ally. Will our heroes within the UNSC turn the tides of the conflict in the fates of their species? What will this alliance with the Forerunner entail to go on the offensive? In the Republic of San Magnolia the people of the country, members of the Alba race have forced members of other races onto the battlefield to fight off the legion and designated them all, Eighty-Six. Thousands of people have died while the Alba live comfy lives inside the walls of the republic. Now the only people left on the battlefield are the children of the Eighty-Six. This story takes place with one of these squadrons of children on the battlefield, Spearhead Squadron. I do not own the story that inspired this. The original author of the light novel belongs to Asato Asato who has written such a great story that I love.
