we all fall into,
a trench of pitch-black darkness,
and all we need, is one
radiant light of hope.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

born, a bundle of innocence
slowly unravels amidst cold hearts
escaping into golden memories,
reminiscing, the suns of childhood days.

trust

love

joy

confidence

faith

and, everything else, we held so dear
now feel foreign to touch,
and maybe going back
is the only way to move forward,
for only then, the sun shall rise.
