Oliver was in his early twenties, barely being able to pay rent for his small 2 bedroom apartment, with a little brother and sister to take care of, with college, and the tuition for his sibling's schooling didn't help being added on top of it all.
He was going to an interview for a job, it was an employment at an accounting firm; when he got hired he didn't expect to be employed as an assassin for its side business.
But he was willing to do anything,
