There were once rangers, protectors of civilians in the towns of Atheria. One day, our protagonist Markus (An 18 year old ranger) had quite a bad misunderstanding with King Geralt, and was sentenced to death. Upon reaching that point, he realizes that not only is he not dead, but instead granted with divine powers.

And he's worried about what the Dark Elves are planning to do with them as they force them to kill monsters. Causing their bodies to absorb mana. At some point the Dark Elves get attacked by a holy group known as the Divine Three, who are trying to rid the world of all subspecies, try to murder him. Ryan barely escaped with his life only for him to get chased by goblins into a Labyrinth. And worst of all, the mana from all the humans and monsters he had slayed has been affecting his body in weird ways as he begins to transform into a Dark (Female?!?) Before we get into it, this is a long running roleplay between me and a friend of mine, who will be mentioned as Sage from now on. We started on 8-28-2019 and at the time of this writing it is still ongoing. I have partially cleaned it up, on the matters of grammatical and spelling errors, but I left the rest as-is, so there are some mistakes, either with period accuracy, me being a dumbass and mixing characters up, etc. My posts will be marked with a 'Z' prefix, and his with a 'S'. As for the roleplay itself, it started out as a basic vore roleplay loosely based on Anno Dracula that eventually progressed into a complete alternate timeline, similar in basics, with some other references to pop culture and other series, in a way not unlike the source material. As such, it's a wild mess of canon, historical and original characters, and references throughout. Some are one offs and others are revealed later on. For those not in the know, I will add a list of references at the end of the section. A man she's met a few times before. Farkas. She joins the group and they train her. Her destiny falls into place as her life is quickly changed as she falls for the werewolf named Farkas. Esme had one big fear in life: being captured as a thief by the city's guardsmen and being executed for her crimes, and that so heavily weighed on her mind that she increased her risks by being distracted in the middle of a heist. That's when she runs into Althalos Fourthborn: Inner Circle Guardsman, one of the many princes of the realm, an Aelif (Dark Elf, local dialect)...and her betrothed by treaty. (That was something her almost human mind could not handle.) So she calls off the heist, gets demoted into a far more risky job, learns the true bitter depth of what this treaty's bond is like, and lands safely by her prince's side....sort of. There were people who still wanted to end her life, even if she was in what most people would call a Happily Ever After. That and her prince had his own living fears that were gnawing at any chance they had. That and she might just lose her mind from everyday boredom. But the one she couldn't wrap her all-too human mind around was that she would one day grow wings and fly away from her almost Happily Ever After to live in a hive with ancestors more alien than a hottie with pointed ears and abandonment issues. ~~~~ Yes, there are adult themes in this book, and difficult subjects, but nothing is excessive, as this is probably my simplest story. This story really starts in the middle. Ari, who often goes by A, is propped up against a tree in the middle of a forest with a dagger in her stomach. She's lost a lot of blood already, and she keeps losing more. Helios is kneeling next to her, and they're both trying to figure out what to do. I'll start at the beginning, though. Ari is a wanderer, traveller, adventurer, and lots of other things. She doesn't have a home, until one day she does. She's chased into the Akiire territory by the Akiire's enemies; the Tesera. Luckily for her, the chief of the Akiire tribe takes her in. Akiire medicine men and women fuss over her until they're sure she's safe. Then the Akiire initate her as a member of their tribe. She gladly accepts. She's started to like it there, after all. Then Helios starts talking to her. He's nothing special in the tribe. He's a good warrior, but all the warriors are good. The bad ones have already died. Nonetheless, by the time we get to the forest with the dagger and all that, A has only spoken to Helios a few times. Now he's her only way to stay alive.Complete
