ON HOLD WHILE I WRITE OTHER FANFICS, SORRY!!!
When the Pevensie children come back to Narnia the second time in Prince Caspian, only one year has passed for them. However, 1300 years have passed for the Narnians, and in that time invaders known as Telmarines have taken over and suppressed all Old Narnians. In the books by C. S. Lewis, we experience the children's return from their perspective, and almost gloss over the shock that the Old Narnians must have felt at seeing the legendary kings and queens of old, just as we would be shocked if King Arthur just showed up in modern day Britain. In this fanfiction born from a deep love of these amazing books (seriously, go read them if you haven't! And then watch the movies- they're amazing. But read first!) I will attempt to switch back and forth from Narnian's perspectives, such as Trumpkin, Trufflehunter, Caspian, Reepicheep, etc., as they observe these legendary figures of the past, and from what I imagine would be fairy tales written about them and their adventures from the Golden Age of Narnia, which would put in perspective the awe the Narnians must have when seeing them. I will also try to add in some later tales that perhaps the Telmarines thought of, in order to portray them as more mythical and ridiculous, as they would like their subjects to believe. I hope you enjoy! (Btw, sorry for all the really long run-on sentences both in this description and in the story- I promise im working on it :) Also one more disclaimer: I'm basing this story off of the book, so if you've only watched the movie you may be a bit confused because there are some things that didn't happen in the book, like the castle battle scene, that did happen in the movie and a couple other differences, like how in the movie there's this kind of tension between Caspian and Peter, but in the books, Caspian and Peter were really good friends, with Caspian looking up to Peter.
