after Wallflower Blush took advantage of the Stone making Sunset's friends memories erased and making them forget about Sunset Shimmer,
this made the flamed haired girl cry.
She never knew after the things she did to gain everyone's trust including her friends will be wasted in an instant.
Everything came back into the way it was. The girl even lost one of her very close friend; Twilight Sparkle.

Later that night, a cloaked unicorn sneaks into the castle and steals Twilight's crown. The next morning, Princess Celestia identifies the thief as Sunset Shimmer, her former student. The princesses explain that the mirror from which Sunset Shimmer escaped is a gateway to an alternate world and task Twilight with going into this other world to retrieve her crown.
