Lexis isn't your average teenage girl. When she was fourteen, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She had been in a hospital for most of her teenage years, to learn she had a year to live, using an advanced item to slow down the cancer from spreading to her heart. Giving her a year to live. and move. She'd be able to go home, to school, to activities, seeing as she'd be able to move again. She could fall in love, and live a life as a normal teenager. As close she could be to normal, at least.

But then again, she'd die end of the year. Will she leave behind a love? Will she find the love her life the last year she has to live?

As the narrator, I'm tempted to simply write "Middle Finger" because that is essentially what you'll feel like I'm giving you in telling this story. However, for the sake of not being a complete dick, I'll write a little more than just a description of a disrespectful gesture. This story can aptly be described as crude and deranged. As you may have surmised, a crazy person will be telling this story, and the characters involved are indeed also all crazy in their own special ways. So, given this exercise in mental illness, the topics touched on (in no particular order) in this tale are destruction, death, superpowered wackos, torture, pain, loneliness, chaos, the will to survive, never giving up, giving up and not giving a shit, the desire to protect, failing to protect and causing more trouble than was already present, disappointing and/or abusive parental figures, bullies, unjust punishments, just punishments, racism, violent and usually superpowered fights, sci-fi gadgets, bitterness, sarcasm, twisted and demented comedy, control or lack thereof, weird and awkward high school drama, lies and brainwashing, alien aggression, moral ambiguity, unhinged villains, fantastical weapons, a piece of shit main character, conditional friendship, a fuck load of musical references, anger, fear, depression, extra-dimensional creatures, godly powers, various esoteric connections, pop culture references, and of course, in general, superpowers.

An internal voice whispered, "Call him." But I chose not to. I dismissed it once more, saying, "He never liked me anyway." Yet the dilemma lingered. "But maybe he does. The way he looks at you... it's different." Out of nowhere, he glanced my way. My heartbeat quickened, sending shivers down my spine. I averted my gaze, pretending to look around. "Has he noticed me? No, wait-oh my god." --- After switching high schools, Nina discovered a new way of life. She fell in love, made wonderful friends, and everything seemed perfect. But Ethan-a popular boy who never focused on anyone but her-was the object of her hatred. He was always there, always keeping her safe. He used to annoy her endlessly. She hated him deeply. Cassiopea's School for the Gifted by artsykid04
12 parts Complete
In a world where magical creatures and humans intermix, there are two types of magic and two types of people. Dark magic and light magic. Good people and evil people. Our main character is going to learn that your powers do not define who you are as a person. Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. He makes friends and learns that just because he has dark magic, doesn't mean he is evil. *Idk if this is actually a good story but I had a lot of fun writing it! :) *This story has been edited

"Who are you", I typed questionably. "Just someone who loves you", he said. I blushed. I never felt this way before. Ever. But the only thing that's getting in the way is this screen. I want to know who is the guy that I'm falling in love with. I know he is feeling this too. He has to. If only you reveal yourself... I understand we are completely I love, but I can't without knowing who he really is. Who is the real Derek? That's a question that I'm binding to find out. "Derek. To be honest, I love you and you know that. But what's getting in the way is that I don't really know who you are. And it's bothering me a lot. You could be a 23 year old man. But I wouldn't know because you are not telling me who you are. If you are ashamed of yourself or hiding something from me, this relationship will not work out between us. I really want to know you. In person. I explained all of me. Now it's time to explain all of you.", I typed furiously. I needed to know wether this love is going. And it's going nowhere. I'm typing a John Legend song just to ask him who he is. Is there really something that he is not telling me? I really don't want any other man but him. But I will find another man if he's not telling me the whole truth. This story is about a Hawaiian girl named, April Nonjee and she is a senior in high school.
