What does it mean to be broken? (I wrote this poem myself) ______________________________ Why be sad? When no one knows how bad You feel your Pain makes you sore. Why be mad? When no one can tell How hard you fell How it hurts MORE than a tad. Why be happy? Be like all those sappy People pretending to be What they want you to see. Why be frightened? Senses heightened Screaming, As sick people are beaming. Why be tired? When no one knows How your wired How you grow. Why be honest? When all known is a broken promise When no one believes you Even if what you say is true. Why hurt? When no one feels your pain When no one's ever alert When you never feel sane. Why pretend? When you know in the end No one will be there Because no one cares. Why care? When no one cares enough for you To know what your going through They think your heart is unfair. Why try? When no one sees that you do They just pry Thinking they know more than you. Why speak? When no one will ever hear They'll say you're a freak They don't see a single tear. Why do anything at all? It's not like anyone will see If you fall If you scream. ____________________________________ "Just admit it Winter. After the whole accident....your broken." "No...No that's where your wrong. I'm not broken. Because to be broken, you had to have been whole in the first place."

Maybe you don't know it yet, maybe you haven't noticed it, maybe you haven't felt it. But all of us, are broken somewhere on the inside. We've all been sad at one point or another, or depressed, or lonely. We've all been broken. ______________ Just a collection of short stories and poems by a sad teenager.

"He was bad. He smoked, he broke the law, he drove too fast for his own good. He didn't care because no one taught him how to. But when it came to her, he wanted to be the best man. He couldn't bare the thought of her being hurt by him... or by anyone else. It was a one-night-stand gone wrong. A heat-of-the-moment, unintended slip-up that was all my fault. I swore that I wouldn't do it - even punched my best friend in the face to prove it. But I ruined everything: our friendship, her innocence, my life. It was supposed to get her out of my system, but now I want her more than ever.

"𝐈 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐈 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞, 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐲" 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 '𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐫' 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 seems to have bad luck follow every one of her steps. However she can't help but feel excited when her and her siblings are offered a scholarship to most prestigious school in her town. With her Mom constantly struggling to keep her family running due to the lack of income her family receives. Adeline is forced to pull her weight for her family by working more than 2 times a week, causing pure exhaustion and anxiety. When time rolls around and suddenly Adeline is buttoning up her uniform for school, she's shocked as to why 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢 calls out to her in the hallway. 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐦 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢 a boy who's past is constantly haunting him and coming back to bite him in the ass. Can't help but be drawn to the new girl. He doesn't know her name, he doesn't know where she comes from. He doesn't know anything. However the only thing he does know, is that he can't help but feel pulled towards her. He knows he's done for when he can't help but answer the question for her in math class... A story full of ups and downs. Where will this story lead us? 𝐋𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭... 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫

THE MIRROR OF WHO WE ARE When we write our famous lines, we tell our own story no matter if it is poetry or a blog of fiction, it is the function of a mirror of your self you had let the world in on what it is you bleed. Your story is the universal mirror, When we look into the mirror, we see are daily image slowly changing with time. When we write our emotions are deeper than the mighty seas, and or imaginations are hight as the tallest mountain, our own thoughts are powerful, words that we write are a big part of who we are. The mirror showed me how truly broken I was, it showed me how unable I was to live happy Terrible experiences turned my body into a painting of scars and insurmountable pain I had put my heart and soul on getting forgiveness but in the end I lost my self

I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by. These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.

I headed for the front door and before I could push it open I felt arms wrap around my waist "Stop" I kept thrashing in his arms "Come on stop, your gonna hurt yourself more" I didn't listen I just kept trying "Keep her arm as still as you can!"
