Everyone knows about how the movie goes with Mirabel finally getting a gift and her family fully accepting her.
But in this AU, there's a twist.

When Mirabel was still a child, her Abuela never cared once about her family's feelings or opinions, only caring about which gift they'll have that she could use for her benefits to make everything ''Perfect''. After Mirabel turned five but didn't gain a gift, her Abuela started forcing everyone to stop communicating with her and was extremely emotionally abusive towards the poor girl, even the villagers, both adults and kids, was always making fun and bullying her. The final straw for Mirabel is when she was 8 years old and her Abuela, purposely announced loudly about having a new family member soon and glared up at Mirabel with an evil smirk and Mirabel relizes she's actually being replaced, this broke the poor girl.

Finally having enough, she decided to run away but not before taking the candle with her and ran up to the mountains that split but it was actually a portal she ran through and got teleported into the Genshin impact world were she turned into a Kitsune and was lost since she didn't know where to go when she stumbled upon bot La Signore and Pantalone talking. They found her hiding and thinking she was a spy, took her back with them to Sneznyha but since no one knew where she actually came from Mirabel told the Archon of Cyro her story and feeling sympathy she decides to adopt and raise Mirabel as the Princess of Sneznyha.
