Shadow Walkers

Life of being trapped in her Father's manor is all Kiara Emerson has ever known. Other than what she has read in books and seen in art, she knows very little of the goings on in the city of Lyrithorian, especially in the years since the war between the Shadow Walkers and the Church of the Light ended. The most she has seen of it is the billowing smoke from the newly established factories rising over the cityscape and the dregs of information she has collected from evesdropping her Father, the head of law enforcement within the Church's meetings.
As she learns more information, she realises something big is happeing within the High Priestesses and her father, and in the centre of the plot, is her.

These are the first few chapters I have written (ever) so please be gentle. It is also a draft and absolutely not honed in or polished at all, I just want to get a view on what people think so far and whether from the events so far if it is something they would want to read more of...
