Crashing Against the Wild Waves

If you knew that it would hurt so bad, would you still go for it? If you knew that it would ruin your life, would you still long for it? If you knew that it wasn't for you, would you still yearn for it?

But if the universe kept on telling you that it would do you no good, would you still chase after it?

For Tristan, if he wants it, he'd go for it. Regardless of the current situation, despite the norms of society, regardless of what he would have to endure later on. But for someone he likes, if something isn't meant to be, then there really won't be anything one could do. It's helpless. Hopeless. The best thing to do would be to simply "move on."
