When Elijah Blair finally came back to school after taking the better half of his freshman year and the entirety of his sophomore year out, he had changed. He went from being the top of his hockey team, the captain for two years straight, to barely being able to touch anyone without having a flashback. 

Tiger Cherrie is the new star of the hockey team, forever in Elijahs shadow one and a half years on. He's always got a happy facade on, always smiling, always wide awake on the ice. He's a stereotypical jock until he meets the boy he is compared to.

Eli was always the best until it fell apart. When he comes back to school and refuses to step foot on the ice, it sends chills through Tiger. Why was this boy so different now? Had he always been like this?

All of the coaches tried to get Eli back, but he wasn't really Eli anymore. He was different now. New voice, new way of talking, new style, new sport, new him.

When they meet, will 'Eli' be cracked by the never-ending stares from Tiger, or will he scare Tiger off with the way his brain is wired?
