Im not even gonna say what the hybrids are you guys can guess.

I didn't pick any specific breeds or anything for example if someone is a monkey they're just a monkey bc nobody has time for the specifics I'm not about to research animal species for a crackfic😭

'Book 1 in the Shifter series' My name is Celina Birch and until yesterday me, and my siblings; Sydney and Alexander but Alex for short, thought we were human. Turns out we our from a family of shifters but, we would not know thy due to our parents dying when we were young and being adopted. The animal you shift into does not run in blood like people think. Yes, some family's lean more towards one animal but there are occasions where a member will shift into a different animal. It all depends on your personality. There are 22 types of animals you can shift into. Some are common and some are rare. Now we have the birds: the Ravens, the Eagles, the Vultures, and the Falcons. Then we have the felines: the Panthers, the Tigers, the Cougars, the Snow Leopards, the Cheetahs, and the Lions. Then we have our canines: the wolves, the foxes, the coyotes, and the hyena's. Are common because there are the mythical ones too. The flying creatures: the Hippogriffs, the Dragons, the Pegasus's, the Phoenixes, the Thunderbirds. The water creatures: the Sirens, the Mermaids, the Kelpies. The shapeshifting academy is kind of like Hogwarts with the letters and using owls for sending mail. Yes, there is a castle for the academy and no, there isn't any witch or wizards those are supposedly extinct. Now I have to go were going to find out what animal we shift into at the ceremony soon. If only I knew then that there was actually 23 types of shifters ~~~~~~~~~~ I wrote this series when i was very young, so any mistakes or grammar issues, or long descriptions, I am sorry about, but I won't be fixing them anytime soon either.

Just extra info for the story: The cover is what they(Jon-17- and Tyler-17) look like as their animal form. And when they're humans, they have the ears and tail. They got to an all Hybrid school...½ the world is hybrid and the other human. How humans and hybrids are, are different. Some are the same and some are very different. In year xxxx scientists decided to experiment on something new. They buy people on black market and created an unknown liquid to inject on them. After sacrificing hundreds of people for the unknown liquid to keep evolving after some test something happened that scientists themselves will call impossible. A hybrid. "A human with animal ears and tail?!" " we'll become millionaire if we sell them to black market! People will bet thousands of their money to buy one of this creatures. " " We'll just make sure the government won't know about this. " After some years of selling different kind of hybrids the government eventually know of this. They plan on stopping this kind of transactions but it's already too late. People falling in love and mating with their hybrids causing it's population to increase. The scientist's payed their crime in jail and got their head slashed off their own body. Government approve that people can take care of hybrids but can be sentenced to being put in jail for a life time if known of abusing them. Everything sounds peaceful now aren't it? No. M/n after a stressful day on his school just wanted to lay down on his bed while sipping on his hot chocolate as he watched the rain poured down on his window. But when a male neko around his age knocked on his door drenched in rain, shivering and bruised, he just need the urge to cry why things keep happening and when it happens it just need to bother him. " C-can y-y-you p-please s-s-shelter m-me? T-the h-houses I've g-gone s-s-said t-they d-don't h-have a-a p-place to s-spare f-for a l-l-living t-t-trash l-like m-me. P-please it's so c-cold. A-at least just for o-one n-n-night, p-please m-mister... " Despite of his constant stuttering, shivering and sniffing M/n understand it. Meaning he understand too that a 19 years old like him have to take a responsibility of this neko in front of him. ~ But what if the neko isn't the only one he'll need to take care of, but a certain owl too?

They came from nowhere. Just suddenly appeared in 1990 and made a few cities. Anthros is what they call themselves. They were taller than most humans. cutting themselves off from humans. Humans have tried talking to them but they never responded. Until 2023, they responded. They wanted a way to slowly engage their species with humans. Humans decided to use a transfer method. 1 human for each of the anthro city to the school of that city. They didn't allow any anthros to go to human society yet. There were 3 cities. Garrison, Relondrit, and Muldrow. Landon got sent to Muldrow. Landon is a 16-year-old sophomore. He's 6.5 caucasian with dark brown hair put into a mullet and dark green eyes. But he ain't no jock, he's a nerd, he doesn't have muscle because he's skinny. Like, see ribs skinny. He was quiet, always doing work and listening to music. (heavy metal and 2000s alternative) When the transfer system was close to the end of freshmen year had started. He immediately signed up. And since he was the first and had all A's except for 1 B (it's criminology) He got into it. So over summer break, he was taught by an anthro (Labrador) some of their traditions. The only difference between them and humans is that they 2 things. Every year for a month, the females get a heat cycle. (It's not the typical one. They can control it. It just makes them turn on more and easier. That's it. No franticly wanting sex.) they also have "Species Day". It's where multiple of the same group meet at various locations. Other than those 2 a few word changes. It's all the same between the 2 sides. Just before the sophomore year started. He was moved into the city. They gave him a basic apartment right by the school. They allowed him to bring his stuff. One of those was his bike. (so he can bike to school. Also, you'll figure out more stuff he brought with him later on in the story. Btw, this is not a harem. So if you're looking for that. Go away. All characters are owned by me.
