It was not easy for Helena to move away from Manila and then stay in Quezon Province, her mother's home. Living in her family's ancestral house is similar to the hell she is living in the capital, but even though it pains her to live with her mother alone, she will undeniably still choose to stay in Manila and endure her mother's presence rather than going and staying in the province.

As she spent her slow mornings and uneventful evenings in the province, Helena learned that provincial life is not as bad as she thinks, especially when she has someone to confide in.
