how could I forget how people would glare at me when I was a small child lost in my own world... I admit all my mischief was use for violence but, how can you even blame me when I was a victim on one of their torment? many people would stand and say "what a disgraceful child! who would taught such a young minded boy such effrontery behavior?" they taunt and mock as they see me with a blooded fist right after beating a poor boy to the ground out of anger.
"Mom please take me away please?"
I beg and pleaded as my knees gave in staring endlessly at the gray colored sky.

When I was a little girl, I believed in fairy tales. I believed in princes and princesses and knights in shining armor. I believed in forever and happily ever afters. I was ten when reality hit me. My mom brought the evil home with her and there was no escaping it. That's when I learned that fairy tales were just that: fairy tales. The bad stuff is real, though. The difference is that I now know that the monsters and evil villains don't always wear capes and ugly scars. No: most of the time, they appear normal. I'm drowning in reality, in my life, and I've given up hope that a knight in shining armor will rescue me. But maybe... maybe I don't need a Prince Charming after all. The city they live in doesn't actually exist but basically it's a city like New York but when you leave the city you go to the suburbs with the forest behind it and if when leaving the city you go more towards the water that's when you hit the rich suburbs and that's where Wester Sunset is. The lake is like a beach and Wester Sunset is a hill that has a cliff that falls directly into the lake. In chapter 11 there's a map of this world.
