Jinja Rei: The Racket Masters Return!

Jinja Rei, a sixteen-year-old boy in Osaka, Japan, attending Shikichi Isamu High School, does not socialize unless he has to. Thats all cause by a traumatic event in his childhood: Loosing in the Olympics. He spirals into self-hatred and hides from society.

He does his work, does his chores, and... well, does nothing in his free time but walk by the water. It is his comfort place.

One day along the water, he bumps into Yamamoto Chinatsu, the most popular and wealthy girl in the school. She had been running to get home after saying she'd be there for dinner, and fell because of her untied shoelaces.

Rei helps her up and adjusts the fallen cherry blossoms in her hair. Then he offers to walk her and drops her off at her house, walking off.

While walking, he explains to her how he doesn't do much but walk out here when he doesn't know what else to do.

From then, Chinatsu kept her eyes on Rei, her mission to get him out and open in the world, while having a little crush on him even though others said he was weird.
