Nameless God

A man wakes up in a hospital bed, one he's woken up in several times before. In this world where your destiny (and somewhat super-power) is predetermined by your family's devotion to a pantheon of gods, his family chose to worship none. Worshipping nothing, is still worshipping something. Waking up, the doctor walks into his little room where they've holed him up, with a worried expression on his face. What could happen to him?
