Journey To Sanctuary -- A Heartfire Story

The following book is a fanfiction related to @CrystalScherer 's original novel, A Different Virus: Heartfire. I highly recommend reading that book first as many settings and some characters that show up are from the original novel. The main cast of characters and the setting in the beginning are my own. This story will be able to be read as a stand-alone, but reading Heartfire will definitely add to the experience. Onto the description!

Scarlett and Mattheo are used to luxury, to getting everything they want. But when a virus breaks out and rattles the world, their lives are turned upside down. As the twins and their family flee the city, tragedy follows. When Scarlett and Mattheo are bitten, they fear their lives are over. However, when seven days pass and they still have their humanity, they realize their blood carries something far different than the zombie virus. Maybe something far worse.
