Alexis Black. Quick, sassy, independent girl. Not to mention the fact that she doesn't get along well with others. Let's just say that she's very... different.

Percy Jackson. The dude everyone fell for, Annabeth, Calypso, Nico, Rachel... you get the drill. The chaotic person everyone wants to be friends with. Also, the fact that he's slayed a freaking Titan in his time, Hyperion, and made another Titan, Iapetus, think he was a nice guy called Bob.

Now, Alexis has found out how different she is. An that she's a demigod. Perfect timing when it's your mother's death anniversary and some satyr just explained, "Whoop-it-e-du, you're a demigod!" Very unbelievable.

What's also unbelievable is the fact that she's a daughter of Zeus. So he broke a lot of rules in the 'Pact' as he made, which was completely useless, quite frankly. And then, yippee, a quest.

And Alexis is chosen to go.
