The year is 2004, and Alessia had always grown up in Rhode Island, always fascinated by the large house on the beach lived in by the illustrious Van Doren family. But for fifty years, Van Doren House had been abandoned until Alessia started getting the letters. They came once a week and were unsigned, save for the same address-Watch Hill.
