"could you smile at me like in the picture?" my words echoed yuta's mind. he was a bit confused but he didn't disagree. i just kept gazing at him, examining every little detail of his face because that was forbidden for me just a few hours ago.
and then, he smiled. he showed me the angelic smile i craved so much to be mine even though the thoughts about it were as forbidden as taking in his features and details. my eyes were full of sparks, of small stars like on the midnight sky in summer when there was a perseid rain.
and then he finally realised it. he didn't hate her because of her personality or appearance, in fact, he hated that he was caught by her even though he was the uncatchable butterfly that kept flying around and when no one noticed, she caught him with all she had.
he was hers from the second her eyes landed on his persona. he couldn't escape it because deep down, he craved the feeling that he was hers.
