WITHER was conquered three years ago, bringing brighter days to Beacontown and its allies. The blue mycelium antidote is now the people's weapon, keeping the disease in its grave. And as a plus, the New Order's friendship has never been closer.
But when a war is lost, not everyone wants to accept defeat, especially not the disease that'd almost doomed humanity.
A wicked mutation is underway, too remorseless to spare even the ones who have the greatest chance of survival. This new, blood-curdling variant is wiser, stronger and has stolen the very tactic that Jesse uses to bring home the victory every time - teamwork.
