[BOOK 2 - SEQUEL TO WITHERING WORLD]

It only takes an earthquake and a breathtaking discovery of enhanced human abilities for Jesse's life to change. 

WITHER was conquered three years ago, bringing brighter days to Beacontown and its allies. The blue mycelium antidote is now the people's weapon, keeping the disease in its grave. And as a plus, the New Order's friendship has never been closer. 

But when a war is lost, not everyone wants to accept defeat, especially not the disease that'd almost doomed humanity. 

A wicked mutation is underway, too remorseless to spare even the ones who have the greatest chance of survival. This new, blood-curdling variant is wiser, stronger and has stolen the very tactic that Jesse uses to bring home the victory every time - teamwork. Now forcing the infected to their side, WITHER taunts at the antidote that no longer cures. 

What hope is left for the world?

My soulmate AU is a bit different than others tho (I think). It branches off of the hanaki disease, but without the one-sided love. If a monster and a human are paired together, the human gains the drawbacks of the bond, getting said disease. Bonds such as this are rare, but apparently not TOO rare for your case. The only way to rid yourself of the disease is to mix the flowers with your bonded's blood (monsters don't bleed, but as a substitute, they can infuse a small amount of HP into the mixture to have the same affect). This antidote is unknown, as is the sickness, due to it being mostly off the records for decades. There are some small studies on it though, but most humans don't find their monster soulmate. Lucky for you, the fates are cheering you on.

We all know that Jesse is the hero of Wither Storm battle, the one brave enough to do what needed to be done. The one strong enough to keep pushing no matter what, even pushing everyone else when they were breaking down. What if though, Jesse was actually the weakest of them all? During her healing, Mevia begins to become suicidal and believes that she is the reason that Hadrian and Cassie became insane. The twins and rest of the gang now have to help Mevia recover physically and mentally from all of her past abuse. As thanks to the twins and the gang for their kindness to her, Mevia makes them an offer. She offers to help them fight as soon as she is fully healed. Will the twins and the rest of the gang be able to trust Mevia? Or will they turn their backs on her? Will they be able to defeat Hadrian and Cassie Rose?
