Lyla, who was still sitting in the top bunk, far away from everyone, was the one to speak, her question momentarily stumping everyone there. "How is everyone so calm," she asked, even though her voice was the calmest one so far. "There are two wolves inside the RV and a wolf-thing outside. Doesn't anyone find this situation a bit strange?" She had been able to see the large creature circling around the RV through the small, square window that was located in the center of the wall of where the top bunk was.

"Yeah!" Isaac immediately answered. "How are you so calm?!" He had voiced out Luna's concern as well. Even though he knew about magic, had seen it performed in front of him, and had even been on the receiving end of a few potions, he still easily panicked when faced with something that seemed scarier than a random aging spell or a harmless fertilizing potion.

"Hmm, to be honest, I still think I'm dreaming," Lyla answered. "I haven't figured that part out yet, although it certainly feels real."

That gave Luna a great idea. Why doesn't she just use a spell to knock out Mark and Lyla so that she can figure out how to deal with the creature outside? She could use magic all that she wanted without the fear of exposing herself as a witch; she could also use it as a way to cover up the fact that they had seen Carl and Simon in their wolf forms.
