FURY || Echoed Cries Book One

The stars overhead began to swirl, spinning faster and faster until they blurred together. One by one, they broke free of the sky, streaking downwards like a rain of silver fire. Darkadder crouched, ears pinned back, heart hammering. A voice boomed out, deep and ancient, reverberating in his chest,
"When the night is darkest and the stars fall like rain, fury and chaos will reign, but in the dawn's light, mercy will bloom, and forever the clans will fade away from doom." The vision ended as abruptly as it began. Darkadder found himself back at the camp's edge, his paws planted firmly in the frost-hardened earth. His breath came in shallow gasps, eyes wild.
That was no ordinary dream. It was a warning.
